Fibrocem render is a pre-mixed ready to use material with the addition of clean water the only requirement. A polymer modified glass fibre reinforced formulation designed to cope with difficult substrates and giving greater adhesion.

Fibrocem GRC Render

The polymer addition is alkali reactive forming a water repellent to reduce water permeability. Fibrocem render is designed to give extremely high flexural strength and tensile strength, together with excellent bonding to sound substrates, resistance to water penetration and durability to the highest order. High impact resistance without crack propagation gives a surface total protection against the ever changing environment.

Fibrocem render may be used as a render in its own right, or inconjuction with other decorative finishes, forming a highly durable system. The system is also suitable for use in sterile areas where constant cleaning is carried out with a suitable cleaning system.

Preparation

  • All surfaces will be made sound, clean, dry and free of any material which may impair adhesion
  • Scaffolding will be supplied
  • Lightweight blocks
  • Any structure faults rectified

Weather warning

The follwing adverse weather conditions could cause a delay in application:

  • If frost is forecast within 24 hours of use
  • In damp/wet conditions
  • In temperatures below 5°c or above 30°c
  • On elevations in direct sunlight or where the substrate is hot
